Go to your avenger folder and delete your old license file.
Open avenger back up and you will see your machine Id, copy that into your registration page key file maker and generate.
Open the file with avenger
Done

Hi

I tried the keyfile thing... now the new banks are not showing up in the synth at all

Post

Do you have the latest version .3?

1.3.3 version

ive complety unintalled and loaded cubase again, when VPS IS installed i have a Avenger plugin and an avenger64 plugin

even though its uninstalled i still see the plugin 64 avalible but when it loads up it crashes the DAW

Post

I’m on mac but usually when daw sees a plug-in that’s supposed to be uninstalled, the plugin dll is still there. So check deeper what files starting with “VPS Avenger.*” you still have in your system after avenger uninstall and delete them. (Especially in Program Files folders)

Only after it doesnt show anymore on your daw, install fresh and add license and libraries.

Post

you should really go to SYS Tab and see which version is really installed (its showed there). Please provide a screenshot

Im beggining to think i may have a demo version installed somewhere still and its conflicting, i had a demo version prior to purchase

The one i see installed in steinberg has a date created around the time of demo install in may? yet 1.3.3 is installed?

Post

search your whole computer for "avenger" and delete all the dlls

So ive gone about deleting all avenger dll on PC

Completely uninstalled Avenger
i have installer 1.3.3
factory content folder r4
Trance one bank is located in expansions folder

I'll try another reboot and reinstall, will let you know what happens this time

Post

Did you really register the expansion online at register.avenger.blablabla and download a new keyfile after doing so?
WIN10 / FL Studio 12.4
Intel Core i7 3770 @ 3.40 GHz / 12 GB DDR3 RAM / AMD Radeon HD 7770 GHz / 2 GB RAM / 28" 4k screen

i did yes, was still locked and not propting to do anything else other than installing the 1.3.3 which resulted in the same thing, locked still, after reinstalling VPS Avenger was still always present in cubase 9, so im thinking this is a problem confliction with maybe a demo install previously, will see shortly

Post

Ok im completely stumped, still doesnt work, not even registering in the synth anymore

Its also not recognising another soundbank i purchased recently

Any ideas

Post

Ok so something very odd is happening... ive deleted the content folder r4, ive delted the dll in VST folder

And Avenger is still working perfectly fine, however it is not registering the new soundbanks, WTF has happened here? this is just crazy

EDIT: IVE DONE IT, what a mess, no idea what was wrong but i just complete clean the PC of everything VPS related, delted everything and reinstalled, prety sure i had demo dlls somewhere which was maybe conflicting, did probably 2 complete reinstalls of the PC since the demo was downloaded and used in may

ughhhhh

Just one: move everything Avenger-related to a backup folder, including settings and presets. Move, not copy.

Then proceed to a clean install the plug-in, then generate a new license (no the one from yesterday), then install factory download R4 again or use a copy of the monolith file not the extacted one, then install expansions.

Generally do all like you purchased Avenger today and you have nothing on your drive.

You keep letting stuff on your drive, demos, plug-ins, presets and they screw around the things as you can see.

Edit: also try running your daw as administrator, who knows :?:

That was so frustraiting, over the years my PC tech side has diminished to nothing running my own buiness just takes up so much time, not A tech related buiness... all i ever use the PC for these days in sending invoices and quotes, even my production has taken a knock ughh but its dont finally thats for all the pointers guys

while i appriciate the protection in place to stop the crackers, i prefered when you just downloaded a bank and imported 8)
