Odd thing happened with Logic Pro X 10.3.3 update

Hi,

I just bought an M-Audio Oxygen 61 to use with Logic. I had already updated to Logic Pro X 10.3.3 last week.

I have now had problems with setting up the M-Audio and accidentally created another control surface.
I found out that if I deleted:

com.apple.logic10.plist
com.apple.logic.pro.cs

I could reset the control surfaces, which I did.

After doing this I opened Logic and the interface had changed with wooden ends etc. I don't think the update was showing. Note: I still haven't updated to OS High Sierra yet?

Has anybody else experienced something like this this?

I just realised the advanced tools had been deselected in preferences.

I still keep loosing volume with the Oxygen though?
