The big ad on this site (see the sides) is for Regroover and the Pro edition currently on sale. These are pretty cutting edge tools. Great YouTube how-to's as far as I can tell.

For having a slicer and polyrhythmic sequencer in one, Geist 2 is the shit. The sequencer is great to work with. Very fast to create sequences in. Plus its really solid as a sampler for sampling your own hits. It also just somehow always sounds really good.

I purchased Regroover Essentials for the holiday price of $49. Then I clicked on the "My Offers" tab in my account and noticed a special upgrade offer to Regroover Pro for $59. So I purchased that $59 upgrade and was delighted to discover that the Regroover Pro upgrade includes the four available Regroover expansion packs as well.thejonsolo wrote:The big ad on this site (see the sides) is for Regroover and the Pro edition currently on sale. $49 + $59 = $108 for Regroover Essentials + Regroover Pro + 4 Regroover Expansions; that is even better than the $119 holiday sale price for Regroover Pro!

really surprised there isnt much more talk about this!! It looks really interesting! Dont know whether to get it or not as there is currently a sale on.
Also to the previous poster - how are you finding orb composer? Also a sale on that at the mo.
I also see you are a waveform user! I just got into that too! Spent the last few years in studio one and ableton. Then discovered waveform and went on a DAW hunting mission, because it seems a lot has happened in that world of late!
Since then i cant look at studio one in the same way. Also it looks like im swapping ableton out for Bitwig - another DAW that nobody really talks about. So much amazing software in the last few years, what a time to be alive.

I purchased Orb Composer Artist Edition to take advantage of the lower pricing. After some time with it, I can say that I do have fun playing with it, but the Artist Edition is just too "watered-down" to my liking. I am hoping that with subsequent releases of the Artist Edition, more features from the Pro Edition will be added back into it.DavidCarlyon wrote: Thu Oct 04, 2018 8:36 pm Also to the previous poster - how are you finding orb composer? I held off from purchasing Waveform 9.0 until it came down in price and had some time to become more solid/stable. I was mostly interested in the bug fixes for the DAW rather than all of the new content and virtual instruments that were now being bundled. Also, being an early adopter of a Tracktion DAW implies that you accept the responsibility of contributing to its quality assurance; I was not interested in participating the in the quality assurance for v9.
