Thanks this confirmes the asymmetric behaviour.swatwork wrote: You can find some info on the EQ response curves here.
Are these typical response curves of vintage consoles or is there another reason why you've choosen an asymmetric response?

That´s how compressors work.Chris-S wrote:Question (DD Comp):
The gain reduction seems to be dependant on the attack time.
For longer attack times there is less final gain reduction.
Is this intended?
Of course it does:Chris-S wrote:No, my stock DAW compressor (reacomp) does not show this behaviour.soulone82 wrote:That´s how compressors work.

But a constant tone is not a constant amplitude - it's a waveform that constantly crosses the threshold set in the compressor. Each time it does it triggers the attack or release phases and the gain reduction goes up or down accordingly. The longer the attack time, the smaller the change in gain reduction before the release phase kicks in, and the lower the overall gain reduction will be.Chris-S wrote:I was talking about the final gain reduction.![]()
So, the gain reduction that is eventually reached when the compressor is feed with a constant tone.

I'm not sure about all the DD plugins being Stereo or Mono, but Channel 2 specifically has a "Mono Mix" button at the right bottom, maybe that could help you (not in Channel 1 for some reason).Psync wrote:...so there's absolutely no chance, not in a million years, that there will ever be a mono version?swatwork wrote: Finally, this release marks the end of the development phase for these plugins; I've no plans to add any new features or additional plugins. I'm very greatful for your bundle and all your efforts. Especially for your adding the latency free Channel2 on our request.
Unfortunately, in my live audio project I realized I needed an even less cpu consuming channel strip for all my mono channels. I understood (correct me if wrong) that your plugins are all stereo-only, hence the question.
Kind regards,
Psync
