Quality is in the eye of the beholder. I think a lot of stuff that's "popular" is crap. But my opinion doesn't mean squat, just as somebody's opinion about MY music doesn't mean squat to me. I don't write for other people's enjoyment. I write for my own enjoyment.

And as far as not finding my stuff wherever the heck it is you looked it up, so what? I don't even know how to get my stuff listed anywhere, nor do I care.

You're obviously mistaking me for somebody who gives a crap what other people think of what I do.
Its not about liking or disliking, not what others think about the track, and yes quality can be subjective BUT from the certain level. I also can think a track is crap, but its quality can be very high.

But from what you are saying i see that you think of yourself as a musician a bit too good (also you seem to be quite arrogant because of that). Either way what you think of yourself i leave it to you. Good music leaves a footprint, you make music for so long and there is no footprint of you, so your branging is not really something i can take seriously now. Please Steve, show me something that can speak for itself rather then your words :)
I'm putting an end to this conversation now. Don't worry folks. There will be no train wreck here because I'm done arguing with people as of the New Year.

I made a simple statement that the number of synths one has and how much "music" they write have nothing to do with each other.

Elektronish wants to turn this into a "Well, who cares how much music you make if it's all crap" argument, but I'm not taking the bait.

Elektronish, you may think whatever you like about me, my music, my backyard or my paper collection. It has no effect on the quality of my life.

And with that sir, I wish you a good day and a Happy New Year.

Yes you are right the number of synths doesnt mean the amount of music you make, but you did started branging how much of it you made and i simply started to doubt in the quality of it :-)

And add to that i didnt stated the amount of synths you have is relevant to how much music you make. :-)

Happy new year to you too! Peace :-)

On a serious note...
In the UK you can be a wife today and a husband tomorrow. A partner (unspecified gender) the day after. All just by declaring it to be so.
In church ( :o) school, a child can be any gender he or she or it wants to be, on a daily basis. If a boy decides he is a she - no problem, use the girls changing rooms and showers, it doesn't matter if you have a penis. The same thing is true of the Girl Guides - these days vaginas are no longer required for membership.

For some people, GAS is a joke. For others, it's a problem.

The thing is it's difficult to have a discussion about GAS because to do so you have to talk about things like value, taste, and budget. All of these are subjective things which tend to lead to disagreements.

hmmm not sure which part of the uk youre in, but here that's not entirely correct. yes gender is fluid in essence, but little boys cant just use the little girls changing rooms. well not outside of the daily mail.

but that's not even slightly relevant to a small joke...

Strange times...
Here on the countryside we have cows and bulls, nothing in between.
And we all recognize immediately the difference.

The problem is that there are people here who contend that if you buy a lot of synths, you don't make music.

I find no correlation between the two, but whatever.
