Just got it installed - looks awesome for a freebie! Unfortunately I'm heading out of town in a few minutes for the weekend

Wish I could stay and play with it! This thing has 42 sounds (patches, presets, what should you call these?)

does this thing have any type of guide to it? i'm not sure about how all the combis, parts work together with the menu on the right and the combi on the left

Sorry but I find unnecesary and overcomplicated the registration process.

After all that my free copy dont work when I try to load a patch it dont see the sounds and I get an error.

Im really tired with all the complications that the legal users have with the software. I feel it is a big error.

Yes. There is an upgrade from Sonic Synth 1 to Sonik Synth 2 available only from Sonic Reality. More details soon.

There will also be a "cross-grade" from ST2 XL (nice, not bad on the after market value of that XL eh? I told you it was a good idea to get it) and this will be available both from SR and IK.

Limited time upgrade price will be $199. and pre-orders will start at the end of this month, with shipment expected to be some time early October.
