Assignable mouse buttons - what functions?

Some versions of mouse drivers (like intellipoint 4.12) allow extra mouse buttons to trigger a key command in a particular program.

Is anyone using this in their host? If so, what particular functions/commands have you got the extra mouse buttons assigned to?
