Bax now has this on pre order in the UK at £299.

Good news: price is slightly less than I thought it might be.

Bad news: expected delivery date mid-June 2018.

any idea what kind of preorder that is ... is it preorder as in pay now ? or preorder as in, join a waiting list and have a unit reserved on launch, at which point you will pay ?

reserving a unit, fair enough. paying six months in advance for a mass-produced product, f**k all that.

I won't be doing it but believe it's a pay-now thing.

I think you can cancel at any point before delivery and get your cash back but not sure.

Think it's the first time I've seen a UK price so thought it was worth mentioning.

I'm not convinced the date has any real meaning, but the D showing up now on far more sites probably does.

For example the Model D is showing up on Gear4Music for the same £299 and their estimated delivery is 23rd-27th Feb!

The price is really absolutely great, and they also state on the Musicstore page that the first batch is already reserved, and that people should order now to get their piece in February/March.

amazing price ... it's volca territory. i mean, it's twice the price of a volca ... but i mean in terms of bang-for-buck. in fact i think it goes beyond volca territory.

for any english-peaking international users, the music store english language page for the model d is pretty scant on info ... even the item description is bare bones. in fact that may be the same for all languages other than german. the german page is worth visiting for the fuller picture, and of course the info about the order batches ...

Not many news in there though.

I guess it also had been announced already that the form factor is Eurorack format, they mentioned that there. Price already known too, 349 €. And, there's a flat cable, and 2 patch cables included.

And the last 5 minutes of the video consist of some... amazing sound examples.
