With slim cases it is very easy to press the front and back covers together. Full size cases require considerably more pressure to press the case against the cd.
Considering the delicate nature of cdrs I'm wondering if I should use full size cases instead.
Slim jewel case - enough protection for CDR?

I prefer Jewel Cases myself for presentation, booklets, and just customer convienience with their own CD racks at home. However, Slimlines do handle in the mail much better, and provide actually better protection for singular shipping than one Jewel Case in a Jet Pak envelope.
But try reading the spines out of a stack of these things.
CD's cause 20% more plastic waste today than the whole period of ALL fast food chains using styrofoam in the '70's and 80's!
Why magazines don't just use a paper envelope and biodegradable adhesion for their CD's? Thieves vs. Polluters - we loose either way.
