Are there any summarized so called "cheat sheets" for Ableton Live?
I have been searching for this, and i am aware there is a huge manual for ableton live.. It is really good, but what i am looking for, is something like a summarized explanation.

I am especially searching for a short summarized cheat sheet for:
Instruments
Audio Effects
Midi Effects

For example, a short summary of the different audio effects - without explaining every detail.. like:

Audio Effect List:
Chorus - adds a chorus to an audio track
EQ Eight - an effect which lets you adjust the equalization
Reverb - adds reverb to your audio
Vocoder - special sound effects especially for vocals

(this is just an example.. i am not an expert in this topic, but i want to become one

)

Edit:
I just noticed, these effects and names are used globally, and not just for ableton.. so it doesnt has to be especially for ableton, maybe just for effects in general.. Phaser, Flanger, Delay, Chorus, etc.)

There's no quick or easy way to get into using a DAW imho. You have to put the time in. What sort of music are you wanting to make? Do you play anything? Are you a song writer?

The second link is very nice as well, but a bit too big for a "cheat sheet", anyways, thanks for the input!

Honestly don't skip on the learning curve, I would suggest you pick a book, if you are making electronic music I would recommend Attack Magazine "Secrets of electronic dance music production", if you want more general stuff "Mixing audio" by roey izhaki is very good too.

There are just so many concepts you have to learn, be patient.

Live's manual does have a really good explanation and breakdown of all of it's included effects. I think you will probably learn more about the audio effects by just loading up a simple drum loop, and then instantiating each effect one by one and hearing what they do. Tweak each effect's parameters and make mental notes on what's happening. There's nothing like just diving in and experimenting with it. I think that would honestly be your best "cheat sheet".

Yes, this is what i do alot!
But still its good to know, if you want to add a certain character to a sound, to know what effects do, for example i want to detune, so i know i have to use a pitch effect

Honestly mate, just read the manual. Set a couple of hours aside if you've got free time, stick on your phone and read it on the bus if you don't, just pick at it whenever you get a moment. It's the best cheat sheet out there. You'll learn a lot more a lot faster when compared to spending hours or even days combing the internet for random bits and pieces.

IMO Ableton Live has the best contextual help system of any program/app I've ever used. Activate with Shift + ? then supplement with the excellent manual and external resources as needed.

Lotsa good advice. Use all of the above.
1. Rtfm
2. Use the contextual help
3. Watch some tutorials if video is your thing
4. Read some magazines (sos, cm, etc)
5. Get some books on electronic music technique. General electronic music making (not EDM, electronic music and EDM are not synonomous .)
6. Experiment
