Whats the best synth, whats the best CPU for performance, whats........... you know the next one!

It would be nice (and time consuming to produce, no doubt)to have another sphere of operation here at KVR - be it an on-line magazine or data base of collected info for newbies - an illustrated and informative area that seeks to inform in an unbiased way (of course) a variety of issues, Q&A and the like
I know there are the data bases, reviews and links that hold a mass of information but it would be great to have an interactive or condensed form that would be like a one stop answer to all those ellusive enquiries and thoughts.

Just a ramble !

I think it's because the european and british magazines are all pretty good.....while, unfortunately, the ones on this end kinda suck.

How about a monthly poll, where people could vote over and over again for the best XXX and best YYY and you could see with one click which is the best synth for Tarnce (heh) or the best for lead sounds for polka or the best compressor for something strange you shouldn't use the compressor for in the first place?

This SHOULD be a monthly poll (only the registered users can vote), since there are always new VST(i)s coming on market and new favourites are born all the time.

Kind of like all those damn cuputer music type magazines only on-line. I swear all those mag's just look here to get there info
