Raphie wrote:midi export of the drum SQ seems broken?
leave everything default through master FX
Load the "Disco House 3" Drums
play it back with 1 sustained note with the drum SQ on
right click and "export to midi"
replace the sustained midi note with the midi pattern
turn off drum SQ
the played pattern sounds different. the volumes sound different (clap) and the sample decays (kick/snare) and fx seem different.
almost like a different kit
Any thoughts where I might go wrong? please hear example on SC (0-16 Drum SQ / 16< midi SQ)

I have this same issue. Did you resolve it?

It seems we lose any shuffle setting when exporting.

Also it seems the sample delays are not handled in the midi export. It looks like everything is 1/16 quantized, so I guess we lose a lot on export.

IMPORTANT: You have to turn off (set to "NO")
on SYS Page: "DK MIDI Note of stops Sample" So that the samples are not stopped when the midi notes end!
Shuffle can be added again in your DAW

and right, the delays are not exported, since they depend completely on the sample you use. A clap may have -8ms pre shift, another one does not work at all in this setting. Furthermore we dont have that little values like 1ms in MIDI resolution.
Just shift the clap you want to use in the end manually by hand in the piano roll of your daw. Or you can seperate the Clap MIDI note to a differnt midi track, and shift this track in your DAW by hand directly in miliseconds.

Update 1.3.3 crashes Ableton 9.7.5 and Cubase 9.5, anyone has this problem? Any idea how to fix it? I've tried reinstalling the plugin, even the DAWs, nothing. Cheers.

I use both DAWs all the time and have no issues. What platform are you on?

Post

Win 10. It's was working before the 1.3.3 with no issues at all, so I'm quite suprised myself.

It turns out it was caused by GPU drivers, updated it to the latest version following Rene Keilwerth's advice and it's working again.

How do you "move" your licence from old to new computer? (I've read the manual already, need clarification)

"If you re-install or format your computer/OS, then you will get back your authorization automatically".

Get back how? Were can I see this info?

I have 2 computers. One at home and one in the studio. I bought a new studio computer.

How do I transfer the already "used" key from my old to new computer? Without using my third (last key).

You can't transfer the license as it is bound to your computer system id but write to Rene (keilwerth [@] vengeance-sound.com), explain the issue, wait for the solution.

As far as I understood you will be able to manage all this stuff yourself in the future inside the plugin (did not update to 1.3.4 yet, might be included there already).

I am trying to import multiple samples into avenger (similar to mapping multi samples in Ableton Sampler) and have them correctly mapped

i.e. if I have a Bass folder with

Bass_C0
Bass_F0

The only way I discovered so far is to drop Bass_C0 in Osc 1 and drop Bass F0 in Osc 2.

Then go to the Zones section and select manually the correct range for each osc,
i.e. for Bass_C0 to play from C0 to E0
and for Bass_F0 to play from F0_ to E0

Is there a better way to do this? What if I have a folder with samples from C0 all up to C1. How can I get all the 12 samples mapped?

Thanks!
