I know it is a newbie questions but here it is:

1. Where to find a good glossary of technical/musical terms, that explains the result instead of a technical explaination? Terms like Gate, Envelopes, Transpose, Warp, etc etc.

Google is your friend, I'm serious. Type in

"what is <blah>" and you'll usually get several good explanations.
