Well, here's the thing.. once you wake up to what's going on around you, and realise you are constantly being sold, data based, monetized, pigeon holed, and cloned... you can't let HATE take over. You can't go through life with hate in your heart. What a shitty way to spend your life ya know. it's fine to consume... just use critical thinking about what you are buying into and just ASSUME that Russians have already invaded it and stole it when you do. Know you are buying in. Free Your Mind.
It was not in my nature to be particularly obedient and starting around the onset of puberty I noticed very sharply that the authority figures around me had more problems probably than even I, and were most of them not very intelligent.

This overarching, overconfident statement is just some bullshit. What is it supposed to prove. Are you not one of the Good Germans, as well? WTF.

There is a film 'MANHUNTER' about figuring out who the Unabomber was and catching him.
One of the things Kaczinski said to the FBI agent who caught him stuck with the agent, in this story. It regarded obeying a red light when there was no traffic. I have never done that. I made my living disregarding traffic lights and stop signs, in fact if you did you were going to get significantly less done in your day and not be among the dispatcher's favorite messengers. I loved it. That is my nature. My nature is independent and suspicious. I'm not hyper vigilant or even very vigilant but I do not trust authority because it's authority and again this goes back to the 7th grade. I was a meek child but I barely made it into this world and I was quite sickly. And I was kind of shy of people.

I'm not much of a consumer. I'd prefer not to buy but take. And, when I was a heroin addict I made my living doing one sort of crime or another. I am vigilant enough to have never gone to prison. Fvck all y'all anyway, at the end of the day we all die alone.

:idiot:

How do you think such a person got there? No, scratch that word 'think', yeah?

I think many of us would agree, I draw midi in, I create completely different music than if Id try to play it in.
All of 2017 I was using the pencil tool in Cubase.

Here's the thing, though, the quality of this work stands on the back of all the work I've done with instruments. I'm pretty sure the person that never has is limited by having never done. Now there are people with more imagination than others. But I believe I'm being responsible to advise that it will through itself enrich the whole of your experience as an imaginer.

Some of what I did is probably something I won't have done any other way. I just did a couple sections where there is absolutely no difference; because I'm imagining instrumental character and I'm executing it, according to some knowledge.

ugh... We are going to get into a debate about extremism and this isn't the place for it. As far as I'm concerned the world has too much extremism and too few people emotionally stable enough to deal with it. I will gladly stop for a stop light... it's a stop light. I'll leave it at that.

Edit. Nevermind. Have a nice day.

I'm forcing a debate by stating a point of view? Seems extreme (your reaction). :scared:

I have another anecdote just for you, having done that shit: I had a friend, a Jewish cat whose parents were both survivors of concentration camps in Germany during WWII. He liked to visit Germany on vacation. In fact, he did more than vacation there, he worked and lived there for a few months at a time, more than once iirc. He told me of a time out with some mates there, 3 in the morning after some biers, you know and there's a red light and he, like me a bike messenger for a time (he far longer than I actually), crossed the street anyway. And one or more of the German men stated with some alarm "Ist du FARBENBLIND?!" Funny story. About unthinking obedience.

Obeying laws for the sake of obeying laws to me is absurd and for me it is not a sign of a free mind. You're free to ignore this or 'debate' it, not up to me really. :)

PS: regarding 'I'd rather take', I don't mean I don't pay for my music habit. I've paid A LOT. I'm just not like much of KVR, I'm far less of a consumer than many. For the marketers and data miners, I'm a waste of time.

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Yeah, let's never talk about ideas here but only about trivia and products. :tu:

Oh dearie me, did we get too far off the topic of 'being soundcloud famous don't mean shit like it used to'?

I love how you picked your spot to do that, John.
