Just thought I'd make available the single tracks of a song I recorded with some friends some years ago so anyone interested could have a go with it.
It's a slow Reggae tune with vox, drums, bass, percussion, sax, melodica, organ (everything real instruments no samples, only Organ is included as Midi).
Not super-pro quality, we recorded DIY in a rehearsal basement, but it's workable I'd say.
I'd like to hear a freaked out Dub version of this but your welcome to do anything you like with it.
377 MB zipfile 22 tracks flac 24bit

edit:
Forgot to include the 2nd voice of the vocals.
They're here:

(has to be alligned manually to the other vocals)

AWESOME. Thanks.
Always great to get STEM material for training/sonically abusing if I'm stuck on something.

Just took a quick listen.
The material is not that bad (trust me, I've heard worse!). All tracks are mono (would have loved to see more guitars), no recorded organ (pity, a real leslie would have fit perfectly), and I can't shake it but I HEARD the voice somewhere before...
Oh and... do you have the key of the song at hand?

Yeah quality turned out quite ok I think for the limited means we had.Compyfox wrote:Just took a quick listen.

We recorded through a Motu 828 MkII in a totally untreated basement.
Actually drums overheads, bongo and djembe are stereo (as mono l/r files)
Unfortunately we didn't have a B3 with Leslie at hand.
Well there are only to chords in the whole track: B minor/F# minor.
So it's in the key of B minor I'd say.
The singer is this one:

For this it's more than great. Like I said, I had worse recordings to edit.No_Use wrote:Yeah quality turned out quite ok I think for the limited means we had.

Good to know. Thanks.No_Use wrote:Well there are only to chords in the whole track: B minor/F# minor.

Chances are I heard him on Fritz! (show "Unsigned") here in Berlin. He also performed not far from my place (Little Stage in Neukoelln).No_Use wrote: The singer is this one:

Didn't say anything against that, but I kind of expected an organ with a nice leslie.KungKrille wrote:More room for creativity thenCompyfox wrote:...no recorded organ (pity, a real leslie would have fit perfectly)...I will give this a try though I can't promise anything

Wow, surprise, didn't expect anything to happen anymore tbh.
Man I totally dig your version !
Really nice remix you did. Love the Dubs and the Synths/FX you put in there.
Freaked out stuff (the way I like it), but you still recognize the original.
Thanks a lot for your work and time you put in there.
Only small criticism I would have:
I find the distorted vocals a bit hard to listen to, frequency wise.
But that's also a matter of taste I think.

Hi,
I just found this post. Are you still interested for a dub version?
