Yes, that's all that came up while stepping through the entire bank.

Notepad plus plus lets you do all those changes with pasting those paths and about 5 clicks. Menu -> Search -> Replace -> move over to 'find in files' tab -> set what is to be done -> maybe test first with 'find all'.

Okay, not exactly 100% sure of what I'm supposed to do (I'm really bad with this kind of stuff) but I'll give it a shot. Will be making a backup of everything first.

You’re very welcome! Glad they were of some use to you. If you have areas of interest, please let me know. I will soon start doing FM stuff, and also drum synthesis.

Is it written in Free Pascal? I noticed Lazarus icon in the Linux screenshot.

I believe it would be great if Diodow is open source (like Hexter). The Linux community would benefit and contribute in return (I think!).
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

Don't think that's in Hrast's best interest. There are quite a lot of DSP and programming/assembler tricks in there. Don't expect that to happen.

This is very strange. I don't know why none of those samples are showing up in the samples sub folder because they all are. Those paths, even on my PC, are all wrong. Before the sample there should be one more sub folder named samples.

i forgot the /Samples/ part. :clown:
The settings for Notepad ++ work. So once again:
Search -> Replace -> move over to 'find in files' tab -> at 'directory' browse to the directory containing your presets ->
find what: c:\program files\steinberg\vstplugins\diodow\diodowpatches\samples\ -> replace with: samples\ -> find all (should show 34 hits), then, if ok -> replace in files ->
find what: c:\temp\diodow\diodowpatches\samples\ -> replace with: samples\ -> find all (2 hits), then, if ok -> replace in files

I better print this out because it is way over my head. LOL. Haven't done Notepad or DOS stuff like this in 30 years.

For me, this would be a bit bright for extended use. What if the background was like the darkest background color used here on KVR forums (light blue gray), and the text and lines were your darker slate color used in this above example? Seems to me that might be a better "light" version!?

But both of your color change versions make a big difference to my sensibilities of vision in using a plugin for extended periods, and therefore make me want to install and explore it. Thanks!

Yes it's way too bright for me at least for long term use. I'm just messing about to see what I can come up with. Feel free to experiment yourself. It's really easy, you just have to find the Hex value of the color you want then swap out the first two values with the last two. (at least that's the way I've been doing it perhaps there is a better way). :)

I've been using this site:

I find it hard to help a dev do his thing when he seems unwilling to return the favor.

I've already lost something beautiful twice to how Diodow (unintuively) works now. The dev attitude seems to be "Don't like that? Then leave it". Disheartening.

Post

i have find a new Tranzistow goodie :
tranzistow can be modulate via cv, gate:
Tranzistow have 4 input that can be a source modulation in the mod matrix !
that open a new world for me :)

Some people in life, actually enjoy making others suffer. Not that kind of person myself, it's just a fact.

For those of you complaining about the dev, he's made it perfectly clear that he made these synths for his OWN use. It is too much work for him to get them working with every OS and every DAW out there, which is why he's making Diodow available free AS IS and not even allowing Tranzistow out to the public at ANY price outside of the free demo.

If he was asking for money for these synths, I could absolutely understand any complaints. But as these are FREE, sorry, but you're all just flat out WRONG. He has no obligation to anybody for synths that he made for HIM.

I hope that's clear enough.
