Okokokokokok.... (besides me agreeing with TNS; Guenon rocks!) ...I've just decided to give the sample inclusion a fair shake and see how it can be used "uniquely" in this synth.
...and, BOY, can it be used uniquely. I totally stand corrected and have to admit to my stubborn failure to recognize the meaning they have to the synthesis. Instantly I've created one outrageous sound that's pretty beautiful.

Awesome!

(And awh thanks man; I have to say, you absolutely emanate a prominent quantity of rockingness yourself! :D )

Having crazy timing issues on render. Running at 96K too.
Just a touch of EQ and a tickle of compression

Hey Oscers, this one looks/sounds pretty interesting :hyper: Time permitting I might see if I can cobble some sounds into a track this month.

Quick one. Can anyone get a sound from Oscillator 3 and 4 or have I missed something?

Okay, scratch that, my problem was due to the filter sends.

The init patch has the Level for filters 2 to 4 at zero. :dog:

Is anyone else noticing a 'click' showing up often when notes are released?

I had this problem with a few patches yesterday and today I'm trying to isolate the problem and having trouble... it's showing up a lot. Even when I do very little to the init patch (no filter/envelope hookup or anything!) I start hearing a click on note release - which becomes MUCH more apparent when I start filtering down to silence for percussion noises.

Does anyone know what this is or how to avoid this?

The best way to remedy this seems to be lengthening the release a bit. There's actually also a declicker setting in the oscillator section (accessed on the "hidden" oscillator tab, by clicking on the "Oscillators / Sound" button twice) :

It doesn't quite get rid of the clicks, though :P

Thank you! That's helped with the first one I tried :)

Haha... yes I should have mentioned in my post that the de-clicker function had zero effect for me. :hihi:

I think that function is meant to fix sample-based clicks, and my clicking problems are all with straight-up oscillator sounds :?

Also, don't forget the declicker on/off for each envelope section too! Next to the VoiceLFO item - again hidden 2nd page thing. As well as the "global" switch.

Not sure how they interact - but they are there - the "declicker" parameter appears in the env.n sections of a patch file. Make interesting reading for what params are there!!!

Haha... again I should have mentioned in my original post. Those declick buttons also do not seem to interact with any of my patches that click.

In any way.

Whatsoever.

Thanks. I'll bear that in mind when I get round to designing some percussion patches ...

Declicker is only really necessary if attack and/or release times are very very quick. You also need to set the Voice Declicker (hidden Osc/Sound page) to one of modes that apply to your sound.
