What is the release price gonna be?

I'm going to try something new this time. The release price will be $20 for the expansion. I will also include another (optional) version which will include all the midi files (around 40-50) from the showcases and a fl studio project template showcasing many of the presets for an additional $5. I think the extra content would add more value. Since I put quite a bit of emphasis on the showcases, why not also include the same midi files to use on the same preset for analysis or for starter ideas as well. It is optional, but I'm curious to hear what others think about it

After a good nights rest, I will edit the page more and include a separate option without the midi file and project templates (Haven't decided how I'd like to organize it yet).



This has been a long day indeed but I'm very happy to finally have concluded this project after working on it so long. Well, almost. I still have have quite a few more things to upload and song to finish up

I'm still in the process of updating the site and of course will also be posting more content and patch walk throughs as soon as I get the chance. I've also planned a few tutorials in working with electra, both in sound design and workflow. I also plan to update most of the text. It was the best I could do yesterday after a long day and needing sleep. Writing needs atleast a few days to go well I find.

I updated the website with a few more images and modified the text. I'll try to upload the main video showcase with nice graphics soon, but this will probably take a few days. I don't have too much experience making the videos so each time I do, I like to learn new things to try out

How is this soundset description? :

The Electric Universe expansion contains 120 high quality presets for Tone2's Electra 2 synthesizer and is suitable for any contemporary electronic and ambient music genres. There are actually over 300 individual sounds since the majority of the patches contain multiple layers, all of which lovingly crafted to a high standard while being tweaked over and over on monitors, computer speakers, and headphones for optimal balance between sounds, including over 100MB of multisampes, wavetables, attacks, and an optional MIDI and FL Studio Project File pack for an additional $5.

The electronic components of electronic universe can only be classified as sonically hipster friendly - the trending high quality and unique sounds found outside of the mainstream, containing morphing modulating subs, snapping deep basses, multilayered rythmic keys, leads, and plucks, starting simply then adding more and more complexity with the modulation wheel, intrinsically controlled heavy modulations and deeply complex, euphonically rich textures. This soundset furthermore captures a minute piece of the beauty and subtlety from the ambient realms and brings it to being for use in your newest sonic journeys, from deep and majestic pads, to floating ethereal soundscapes.These sounds are now available to expand the beautiful and powerful electra 2 synthesizer, offering complex sounds for both realms, expanding Electra's sonic palette to capture, create, and form emotion.

To be honest, working on the text an all the marketing jargon is one of my least favorite things to do, and one that gives me the most trouble. If you guys think any part is lame or something let me know so I can change it

Still working on the video and did a tutorial (with words ) on importing stereo samples into Electra but still needs editing a bit -- can even hear kittens fighting in the background the whole time But, yeah, in case anyone doesn't know, Electra actually works mostly in mono and a few tricks are needed to get a wider stereo field, especially when importing samples. Electra will sum L and R channels in a wave file into mono, so the trick is to import L and R mono channels panned hard right and left across the layers. Each channel gets there own layer.

Oh yeah, in case anyone doesn't know, Electra has been updated to 2.6 beta which a lot of new features (including lazer bass effect). Check out the forum at tone 2 for more info.
