FLStudio / Indigo IO Problems

Hi,

I have been having problems getting FLStudio to run correctly with my Indigo IO soundcard, when the ASIO Echo WDM driver is selected. If I select a buffer size of less than 8192 samples (at 44kHz), then when playing back a tune, the audio output is broken and the mouse cursor alternates between being a pointer and an hour glass. I have to use the task manager to shut down FL in order to regain control of my machine. The same tune, when running at 8192 sample buffer size, does not exceed 20% CPU utilisation. If I select the Primary Sound Driver, it will play back happily at 18ms (or more) buffer size.

I am running the latest driver available for my Indigo IO, and the same driver functions perfectly well with Ableton Live at buffer sizes down to at least 256 samples.

I've posted on FLStudio tech support, but so far they haven't been able to offer me any help. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated. Also, if anyone has experienced the same problem, or is running FLStudio with Echo Indigo IO without problems that would also be useful to know.

BTW. I originally had this problem running in Win 2000. I thought it was worth a go, so I wiped my machine and installed XP on it. Unfortunately the problems are exactly as before.

It cant possibly be a prob with FL, must be a dodgy VST or your machine
