He probably makes more music than anyone else on the forum.
So you suggest he argue over nothing and get pissed off vs. making even more music? Why do that? If you are on KVR and getting pissed off, it is probably time to go make music or do something else.
You know, you're right. Not going to argue that at all. But I made 11 CDs last year. Sometimes you need to take a break or you burn yourself out.

This place is my break.

Maybe take up another hobby for when you need a break from your break ;)

Haven't you guys got anything better to do but keep track of who posts what around here or are your lives so empty that you have nothing else to do with them?

Pathetic.

Post

Yeah, my life is so pathetic I argue for days with random internet peeps about what is and isn't an R&B preset. Oh wait.....

I only posted about this at all because you said you were so pissed off, which I thought was pretty pathetic

I'd really like to get back to talking about Repro though.

I found a bug recently that causes Repro-1 to play weird sounds in Reaper if it has notes at the very beginning of the piano roll and sleepy mode is enabled. U-he knows about it and I assume it will be fixed soon, but just in case anyone runs across it, just disable sleepy mode and it is resolved.

Talking about bugs! I think I have one to report but not sure which is to blame exactly!

I have 4 midi controllers connected to my PC (not that I'm using them simultaneously). The bug is related to midi learn in the VST3 version of RePro. When I map the filter envelope knob to a controller, the cut freq is also moving with it! This is a problem with 3 of the controllers (Nektar LX 25 +, Arturia Beatstep and Blofeld keyboard). I don't have such a problem with the Casio PX-5S, which is the best one between them actually in midi learn in general!).

Anyway, I'm not sure if I have the same problem with the 2.4 VST version. I'll test it when I'm near my PC.

Update:
Oh well, it seems everything is working well with the three controllers! I have no idea what I did wrong before! Anyway, the only thing that doesn't work is midi learn in RePro 1 VST 3, but I don't use VST3 anyway because there are still VST 2 available for RePro 1 and 5 :)
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

I'm having problems with my travel agent. Seems he's doing 5 to 10 in the pokey for influence peddling.

Post

Surely you have a list of travel agents?

Not when you only need one.

I like it. Maybe I'll request a holiday be named in my honor and we'll call it Wagging Day. On that day, everybody walks around with little dog tails and they wag them at people.

Could be fun.

At least you take it with humor. :tu:
Don´t take to serious what i say. I can be an asshole. We all can here from time to time. But you know that you are a target here sometimes for some reason. But as long as you can live with it....
To be serious for a moment i can live with KVR and it´s even entertainment sometimes.
There is just one person on my ignore list yet (not you  ).
Of course we all could more think about what we post and could be more friendly to each other (myself included of course too).
We are all just humans and most of us like a fight here and there too :D

I can be a jerk. But most of the time, I really stay to myself around here unless somebody pushes my buttons. There are a couple of people here who do that. One of them is the reason for this train wreck. And yes, I know when people make statements of fact that are nonsense, I should ignore them. It's one of my biggest faults among many. Trust me, I know them all.

I come off all cocky when I'm really just a nobody.
I get very defensive.
I get annoyed very easily when software doesn't work right.
Poor purchasing experiences drive me crazy.
I always look for excuses not to do something because I'm lazy.
I can't work with others at all.

But you know what? If somebody here PMs me and asks me for help, even if I don't know them, I'll try to help. Because I know what it's like to be so f**king lost trying to do something that you don't know where to turn. Sadly, I feel like I can't come here for help AT ALL. Whether or not it's true, that's my perception.

So yeah, I tend to have an overall slightly negative view of this place. And that bugs me because on another level, I love it here. Where else can you find out the latest on new synth releases? This place is like my personal news desk.

It's a love/hate relationship for sure.

Will I ever leave? Probably not as it's unlikely that I'm ever going to stop making music.

So you guys are stuck with me.

You could use that in a rap ... :ud: :tu:
