I bought Harmor because it's bigger brother of Harmless (that I like so much) and I regret my decision. :dog: These 2 synths have their own "sound character", but I can not get from Harmor sound, that I want. It always sounds "muddy". I've seen and read lot of tutorials, but with Sylenth Demo it's much easier to get sound I want - and not only with Sylenth, but also with ANA, Synthmaster One, DUNE and other VSTi demos. Maybe is something wrong with me. Indeed. It must be. Because I'm alone, it seems... Maybe I'm lost with all these possibilities that Harmor offers and better suits me "simpler" plugins like Harmless or Zebralette with just few options and 1 or 2 osc. Who knows... But I'm still trying to get into... at least I'm using it for resampling drum samples... :?
I can not sell Harmor, because it's part of my DAW. Other plugins like like Sampletank 2., Mangle, V-Station, RG... I sold.

But the winner of this topic is: Revitar - that I bought few months before it become freeware. And never used it in single track. :hihi:

funny u mention sylenth1 (my first 3rd-party plugin); i've now bought it 3 times (i'd sold my license twice previously). i keep coming back to it. so, i guess, one synth i don't regret buying...

Steinberg's Retrologue. I really like the synth and was my go to synth for a while, before it just stopped being stable and usable. Numerous support requests lead to nothing. The latest ticket I have is already a month old and has no replies from Steinberg. Propably won't buy anything from them anymore :?

AdrenaLinn Sync...absolute piece of crap, poorly supported (I have NEVER had as many issues having to jump through hood to reinstall something), garbage sound and eventually abandoned because in the End Roger Linn was really just licensing his name to something he didn't have the capacity to provide support for.

I regret buying synths that I don’t use, which are most of my synths :-o
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

(Since it seems you are stuck w/ Live's version anyways:)

The Kontakt version does cost more, $299 to $175 of Live version.

The tech specs in Heavyocity's site look similar (Kontakt: 7.5 GB uncompressed, Live: 7.6 GB uncompressed).

Drum Racks are amazing, you can add FX to each pad, and also MIDI FX to each pad. For example, an arp before an secondary snare can add some nice roll just pressing a key.

Also you can try copying a backup preset (just for safety) then doing stuff like ctrl+drag or (ctrl+)alt+drag from one pad to another for fast and easy layering possibilities.

Also 2: you can refund purchases on Ableton's site, if it was less than 14 days (not sure if it is 14)

It's one of those (few) synths i keep, even though i don't use it much (version 1 user here). I always think that i might use it at some point, or do a tutorial with it, because it's so straight forward, or just use it to be different. ;) It isn't bad though, really, it's just having a hard time, because there's simply synths (IMO), which are that little tad better. For a straight forward soft synth interface, it's almost unbeatable though.

Have you tried their own support forum?
But it is also pretty dead if I remember correctly...

UVI Falcon. It's a good vsti but For Me the GUI was too obtuse. Nothing seemed layed out in a way that flowed for me. If i used a lot of presets i would have kept it but i like to program and i always felt like i was searching for everything. Just a case of something not clicking right. Only software i've sold, i generally use everything sooner or later and had never had an issue programming anything.

I haven't posted there, but I have read of some similar cases and tried everything they tried. Nothing. I think I'll replace it with Repro :)

Avenger. Still has bugs from the release version and introduces a bunch of new bugs (up to unusablilty) with every update. Also it's cpu hungry as f*ck drives my gpu fans crazy. I'm glad I could sell it.
