Hey all, Got this weird prob, I was constructing a pad line earlier, ANd then the marker tool thing, kept placing down 'empty' notes....I thought it may of being cause i was setting the loop thing on so it goes to the end of the marker and replays again, but the notes were not going outside of the marker, so i see no reason why they should turn white and note work....

heres a screenshot, as my descriptions not overly good lol

Notice the white note...whilst the others are red.?

PS this must be a really easy/simple thing..but im new...and know im gonna feel REAL stupid when someone tells me the simple answer lol

Best regards.

Smithy

PS. im absolutly loving cubase, I kick myself for not learning it earlier own in my life.

This is caused when your midi part its smaller than the range your are selecting in the key editor. Go back to your project window and drag the midi sequence to the REAL length you want it. Everything should be fine after that.

you can activate the partborder icon in the midi editor. that way you only see the active part as a grid. it's much more clear
