Another one thats been lying around since end of last year. Different from my usual style (slightly). Uses a lot of z3ta+ and Reaktor Session. Drum Loop is chopped up in PhatPro.

Subatomic (6:30, 8.9 MB, 192 kbps mp3 file)

Cheers

nice chuun

padsounds are great

for my taste the drums sound a little bit too muddy/lofi, but that is only my taste.

thanks for sharing
sound is vibration, vibration is life

And another tune to add to the folder :D

Loving the tempered percussion that just pushes the tune onward, some cool FX you have put on those drums.
Great envelopping on the arpegio's as well.

Beautiful track prog :)

Thanks folks. It has taken me a while but I have started to use FX and envelopes a whole lot more, rather than relying on real time automation and just delay, filter sweeps and chorus.

Interesting music, it has a sense of movement in it.

I like it, it’s like being on a small boat without a motor, sail or pedal on a river and you just lie on the deck watching the sky change and from late afternoon to twilight. The corners of your eyes tell you of the change in the scenery on the shore. Suddenly you jump up in fear thinking that you’ve drifted off way to far and are now lost. But then you see that it’s not so bad and you sink back into the calmness you had before.

I was surprised that only 2x 6:30 minutes had passed when I started to write on this. I had the feeling that I was caught up in your song’s world for at least half an hour!

Anyway, me likes it. thanks for sharing!

Great track!
Takes you "out of time" for the duration.
Changes in a very organic way which helps keep the listen involved.
Key changes work really well.
I also liked the "Kraftwerky" sound coming in in the end section with the string sound.
Were those last two sounds from the Z3ta+?

More please!

Thank you very much.

That last pad (last few seconds) is actually from SampleTank2. The main z3ta+ sound is one of the pads in the middle and the "floating" pad just before the end.

prior to that its a lot of layers :). All in all, at various points there are two z3ta+ instances, 1 synth 1 (last time I ever used it), 2 Pentagon 1, one ST2 patch, the main driving sound for most of the sound is from "Kaleidon" in Reaktor Session and theres Crystal in there too.

That's one of the nicest compliments I have ever received. Thanks a ton.

You better believe it. Although I think I cleared out my good backlog. Have a few more in the works though. :)

This is great prog, I loved it. Really builds into something cool, and then a nice chord progression 2/3 through. Excellent stuff.

Thanks a ton .. I actually heard it on a set of speakers other than my monitors for the first time, and while there are a few things wrong with the mix, overall I didn't mind it too much.

Just some thoughts as I listen...intro takes its time, the sound is abit thin with too many sweeps in
higher ranges. The mid section is a bit repetitive.
The ending is a good idea but needs some low end and a sustained final note to fade out.

Apart from all that - I like it! :)

Mike.
