Maybe my presets takes it to far
Most presets are fine but some seems to crash the whole thing so that i even have to reboot my macbook

I updated to macOS High Sierra and Logic 10.4.....now it´s all a bit unstable (plus some bugs like extreme loud sound bursts and even audio engine crashing which i have/had before) it will take even longer. If i have time i will contact the developer to see if he can solve this.
It´s still the best sounding synth for me but a bit unstable and sometimes it make unexpected weird things.
In the meantime another one minute play with one pas preset (which costs me a few Logic crashes).
I will try to sort the "bad" presets out and see if i can release something in the next 2-3 weeks or so. But my real time job takes all my time and energy, so don´t count on it.
If i don´t get something done i just will share what i have (but be warned.....don´t use it without a limiter on the output then).

So the best sounding synth in the world, thanks to good old crappy Apple, is pretty close to unusable.

Makes me not so sad that I can't use it.

It´s not unusable but i would say "unstable". But no one forced me to update. It was my fault too. Of course that it is the best sounding synth is also only my personal opinion and might not mean much for others of course too.
Life goes on and i will see where it goes. But yeah, we have so many tools to play with and i finally don´t feel G.A.S. anymore. Logic 10.4 is really great and gives me almost everything now i need.
I just use some external FX, Kontakt libraries and my 2 favorite synths most the time now which are P900 and Repro. Repro is much more stable and has microtuning which i like to use sometimes. P900 has still my favorite flavor of all synths and the saturation really makes it for me. Not sure if High Sierra or Logic 10.4 makes it unstable (but it was already before) so i try to make the best out of this. As we heard i doubt we will see much improvement or updates of this synth but i do hope bugs will get solved.
Also there are far worse problems going on in my life....so i see that not too serious anyway.

Well, my point was, I was very upset at not being able to get my hands on this thing. But given that it is unstable, which would pretty much stop me from buying it, I'm not so upset anymore.

The sound bursts are really dangerous and go to several 100´s +db
Never use this without a limiter. It´s really dangerous!!

You are making conclusions very fast.
There is just one user that expriencing this problem and i am sure if its p900 prob the dev can fix it.

Nah, i just think if i read between the lines some bug fixes are will be the only things we see for this synth for a long time.
But i think i won´t release any presets as long as i could hurt users ears with it.
These sounds bursts and complete audio shutdown of my mac (no sound at all also in other apps/tools) are not good and REALLY dangerous.
But i already had this with Logic 10.2 and Sierra before i updated and i send my whole preset bank to the developer to try out if he knows a solution.
However, so far i won´t use it sadly much now because it really can destroy your headphones/speakers and ears. These are no minor bugs anymore!
So here is a last one so far. One minute with cinematic sounds. I tried to added one sound more and i forgot the limiter.....woah.....Logic shows me +db over 1000 or so. Is that even possible?!?My cat was running away and my Mrs. told me if i´m crazy to hear that loud. I was wearing (open) headphones.

But it is really not fun to get ear damage.
So, Repro won back the first place since it is stable (like every U-he tool i ever used).
I think i will delete all the presets which makes problems and maybe start new in a few months.
So don´t wait for presets yet. I really mean that serious. I never would share these presets if there would be a chance of these bursts if you forget to put a limiter on it. But even with a limiter it hurts.
I will try to write the developer if i have the time next week about this again.
But it seems i´m the only one with this problem. So who knows what configurations of hard and/or software is the faulty one. But these extreme sound bursts are a NOGO for sure!

I also own pulsar 900 and it sounds incredible. Maybe even better than my hardware modular. If the developer isn’t going to port it to windows or develop it much further, maybe he will be open to porting the modules to VCV rack ? Seems like it may be a win-win for everyone.

The dev is responsive & fixed a bug that I reported last year extremely quickly.

P900 perfectly stable on my system: Logic 10.4.0, macOS Sierra 10.12.6. Still one of the best, if not the best, sounding plugins I have ever heard

Basically, development has slowed significantly but not stopped. I am currently sitting on some fixes that I will push out when I can find a free weekend. I am currently working on other projects that take up all my time but I will be back on P900 at some point…and...I have recruited another programmer to join me in this project when that times comes.
