Hi Guys

I have ran into a problem , its the first time that I have noticed it but maybe someone can shed some light.

I am after finishing a mixdown on my old M-audio Mobile Pre Soundcard and got the mix at a very good stage. Now I played it back on a Steinberg UR22 and it sounds all over the place. I played it back on a computer laptop with headphones and it also sounds like its running through the UR22, even my phone is giving me the same feedback. I have based my mixes on this old Mobile Pre soundcard for a long time. The bass is now overpowering. Balance has shifted. Tested it through a different soundcard during the week and the same problem again. The M-Audio soundcard is obviously the problem but it does sound a whole lot better.

I have switched back and done bounces on both 16bit / 24bit and it really doesn't make much of a difference. Mind boggled, has anyone had the same experience or know of a solution. Thinking I might have to start using he UR22 but its very very buggy.

Mind Boggled....

Thanks

Maybe your m-Audio has something on in the options like an EQ preset or your other playback devices have one on.
