HI

I am getting a bit worried and anxious - you see I have posted 997 times and am worried that if I hit 1,000 it will be an ANTI-CLIMAX; is it really all its cracked up to be, will the earth move or will I hit the ground like a sack of potatoes injected with mercury?

hmm, 1000 posts.. not there yet myself, but you could look at it this way: multiply the average amount of time it takes you to post by the # of posts you've made, convert to hours. These are hours you'll never get back because you spent 'em posting on K-V-R! :-o

 :P

In all likelihood it's like when I turned 40.. yawn, so what. Very anticlimatic. :P

This KVR thing is a necessity, in my own experience. If I don't look at whats going on on KVR or on Cubase forum for that matter, I feel like the most recent, up to date news about music technology is passing me by. So I don't consider it a wated time, but educational time. I have friends calling me with questions like "Hey this and this doesent work. What should I do?" And thanks to all the posts that I've read here and there, I can say whats up, and 99% of the time I can fix a problem over the phone. Also if I have a problem I can easily fix it due to all the knowledge that I've gained here.

So don't be afraid of post 1000. Happy 2000 !!!!

After 1000 times you're hooked but it doesn't get you high anymore so you have to do it several times a day and chase the high by posting more and more... :-o It's like buying softsynths... :bang:

HI

I am sure I saw like 17,000 on Vurt's count - he must have an automated service  .

Saying that some of my post's are like 2,000 word essay's - I need to learn how to use sentences rather than writing a book!
