Because people who use that word are usually describing something that is a personal preference as though it were really an objective standard. It's usually how wars start here, too. "This thing is more professional." "That's no good, it's not professional." Some pros use crap stuff because they like the way it sounds. Some amateurs use "pro" gear. It's really quite irrelevent who uses what and whether or not they get paid for it, unless there is some specific sound that you want to borrow.Goa Head wrote:Why?
