Zebra Nordsund is a collection of four soundsets featuring 600 patches, designed for u-he Zebra2 and ZebraHZ.

This collection of sounds is the result of synth programming sessions done for composers Uno Helmersson and Patrik Andren, for the acclaimed Nordic Noir thriller, The Bridge - a truly proud achievement in my career.

Grinding basses, industrial textures, silky pads, unstable sequences, tense percussion; Nordsund blends uneasy, moody analogue with dark, taut organic vibes for an authentic slice of melancholy Scandinavian tones. Cutting edge sounds for the most thrilling European TV dramas.

There are a number of time signatures represented in the basslines, synth sequences and drumloops to allow you to build up suspenseful, syncopated tracks. Plus, as always, care has been taken to provide extra dynamic tonal control via the modwheel and the X/Y pads.

Nordsund comes in four versions:

Nordsund Gold is a collection of 150 patches for Zebra2 with a slightly more familiar, Nordic crime show sound. Dark but not too dark. £24.99 +VAT.

Nordsund Gold: Dark Edition takes those original 150 Zebra2 patches and expands upon them using ZebraHZ's filters and compressors, for moodier, more analogue and abstract tones. It also includes the original 150 Zebra2 patches. £34.99 +VAT.

Nordsund Blood is a collection of 150 patches that stretches Zebra2 into broodier, more atonal and dysnfunctional Nordic tones. £24.99 +VAT.

Nordsund Blood: Dark Edition takes the Zebra2 patches from Blood and twists and manipulates them with ZebraHZ's filters until they can tak no more. Again, it also includes the original Zebra2 sounds as well. £34.99 +VAT.

Finally, there is also a Nordsund Bundle where you can buy all four soundsets together for a discounted price of £49.99 +VAT.

I would be shocked if the lead instrument (piano) is from zebra.

No, the piano and strings are sample libraries. Everything else is Nordsund.
