Man i am super angry yet!Whole fk week and i still can't get over it ...some mf real or fake user nevermind totally destroy my mood,inspiration, even sleep with a filthy comments about fine work i put heart and soul...if somebody insult me personally probably will pass for two days but trying to destroy my work hooo ... better never do this in real life cuz it's about to see why our army never 'lose a fight and win a war' ...at least last 1000 years

If it's a commercial soundset, i think you shouldn't take criticism too much to the heart. People pay, and want to get something in return, and, in case it doesn't meet their expectations, they might also tell you why it doesn't meet their expectations, and may even vent some, when they're pissed off.

Why not try to deal with it, and find out what people don't like about your stuff, and try to improve on it? I think that's much more consctructive, than coming here, and complain about it. Not sure what kind of answers you expect here. Even if people build you up, that might be the wrong way, because you'd feel confirmed, and even act more hurt on the next complaint.

i just wanted to say it,to let it free,it's not complain,i never complain of anything.
If buy cola from the store and then want to return it half consumed,nobody care about you opinion or wish cuz is used already.
Well i do, cuz this is not real bussines but emotion,idea,effort,time of u life nobody will give u back ...but you are right,maybe have to stop do it same way,i definitely pay to much attention on users desire and opinion - nothing stop nasty person to be nasty,unless punch in the nose a guess...
My point is if somebody is so competent why doesn't he do d job - i could critisize every fk aspekt of his work too its easy to be destructive,try to create something and see how difficult it is.
The mod matrix wasn't programed well - if you think you can do it better for free be my guess...

If you cant take the criticism, its probably best to not make your work available to the public. The internet is full of idiots and haters. Don't listen to 'em. Rise above.

I don't think there is any need to "demand" the respect of ones work. It either speaks for itself (the work) or it doesn't. No need to get your panties in a twist either way.

Looking at your website you even underline this: "Nothing is more important to me
than satisfied users saying good word." .. which looks to me like your main aim with it all is to get praise. That's never a good currency to deal with. Pride and vanity are cardinal sins in various mythologies for a reason.

So in short: Ingore the hate, or learn from it if it contains any truths. Your work, if it's truly good, will speak for itself.

Frankly, i think i would have just refunded the guy, and let him keep the sounds (you wouldn't be able to do anything against that anyway i guess). That way, the guy is at least halfway satisfied, and may even buy from me in future again, and might even be happy with his purchase then. The best salesmen i ever met were the ones who act professionally, and don't even take offense when they get offended, or criticized. IMO, there's always two necessary to make situations like these escalate. I doubt that you get insulted, and offended for nothing at all. Yes, there are haters, but, i can't imagine even these offend and insult you out of nowhere.

Only humble and down to earth folks can really made it trough if they put their soul into it and don't fall apart, ego driven folks are driven by money, they don't care about soul, they care about stomach. if you cared about people really loving you because of money, you would make that patches ultra loud and you would made plenty of popular ones, but you want people to love what you really are and some do, if that's not enough for you, sorry, but this world isn't for you and suicide is not the answer.

As i wrote, a bit more professional attitude would be good. I would never have written this if you didn't ask about it here, and make this a public thing BTW. It fits the topic. If you are afraid that people act or comment negatively, making your work, or your opinion public is not a good idea.

Last time i'm gonna say it - sound design isn't business.
It's passion.
It's personal ambition.
It's discovering new sound.
It's creating something new,never existing before.
It's a lost cause.
It's wasting time.
It's bad attitude of ungrateful people.
It's something that not many people will spend years to learn.
It's really hard work and it's not healthy at all.
What more to say?
