Hi everyone
can maybe some owner of it help me with just some simple questions?

1- in the 2+ version is there any difference in using the normal usb-lightning cable + power supply, compared to use the cable https://www.iconnectivity.com/products/ ... ning-cable when connecting an iPad pro?
2- If i take the 4+ that comes already with the power supply, can i just connect the ipad with a lighting cable (the normal one that comes with the ipad itself)
3- If i connect an ipad to an usb B and a pc the other usb B, can i connect a midi keyboard on the usb A (called host or ipad depending on the uni) or the only way is going via midi cables? i can't understand if the host port of the 4+ works the same way as the ipad port in the 2+
4- in case the only way is midi cables, if i connect a midi keyboard to the pc and the pc to the unit, will it work or it's better avoid this?

Thank you ;)
p

p.s. i am refering to the audio versions, not the midi ones. I need to plug guitars too

I bought an iConnectAudio2+ a few months ago. There seems to have been a lot of problems with the 2+ and 4+ getting software to see iPads when iOS 11 was installed on devices. This problems seems to have been around for a while. I almost returned the interface, but since I also have a iconnectMidi4+, I can configure both to meet my needs. I've been tracking the progress on their forum, but the forum has not been active for the last week. Support seemed very aware of the problem, but seemed to have no idea yet how to fix it. I'm not sure if all units are affected, but I saw a lot of people had problems with connecting ios 11 devices it iconnnectaudio interfaces
