didnt manage to find an example right now, but at the time, there were those great "zap" sounds (kind of self oscillating filter) that were used for breaks in disco hinrj tracks. I mean, not only breaks, but maybe every 4 or 8 bar or so...
I dont manage to get those samples, so if anyone has a tip on that, hes very welcome

If I understand what you're looking for, try look for electro drumkits. They usually have this sound. And I recall there's sfx patch atleast in Pro-53 of this sound.

Check out the Hollow Sun site, to my knowledge they offer a huge range of free drum machine samples that are totally copyright free. I have a couple of their downloadable packs and they really are useful.

i've played with a couple of the h/w units for those sounds.. 70's 'ring my bell' stuf. generally just a sine wave with a pitch envelope. try my 'whoosh' vsti or anything with an exponential (at least envelope)

Funny you should ask this. Check out this thread. It's a new drum synth that might have a few of the sounds you require. It won't cost too much when it's released either.
There is always Waldorfs Attack which is bundled with DPole Filter and their PPGWave synth for £49 at Turnkey. Attack definitely has a lot of zaps, bells and whistles.
And if you want a much more versatile instrument then why not join the RMIV Group Buy. This has synth and sample kits. And comes with loads of different sample kits. There is a new update on the way which will be free to group buyers. This update will bring midi loops into the RMIV interface and other improvements.
With any of these drum machines you could create your own 70's samples to use in your songs.

As said by xoxos soft synths can emulate this quite easily.
Use a tight bass preset as a starting point,switch off multiple oscillators and make remaining one a sine wave.Now play around with pitch and filter envelopes and maybe add white noize and resonance for that acid twist.
