For anyone that has an apathy for the current trend of flat lifeless GUI's that have been imposed upon us over the years, and have been making their way to some of the daws we use today... there is some hope for those of us that don't like it.

Some you might be aware of my own attempts to rectify this issue from another location and have many of the one's I have posted previously. I pulled the links to these but I didn't exclude the possibility in making them available elsewhere...You may have seen a few video's of them...

This time however I'm going to only give you one design to try out from the off rather than dozens of them, just to see if there's enough interest, and if there is...well..I'll post some more. This particular design not previously available has had some changes such as the large semi transparent screen being removed and minor amendments elsewhere on the transport bar.

To customise Studio One or any particular program effectively, you will need a 3rd party utility if it doesn't have the features built in natively. For this I chose the best one available, and it just happens to be fully functional with no restrictions, trials, or adware as you would expect if you bought a program. This one is entirely free..and is called Custom Desktop Logo 2 and you can find it... here.

*Do note that this customisation based utility is only available for those on the PC platform, Mac users will need to find an alternative which has similar functionality.

Instructions on how to set this up is illustrated and documented here..

See attachment below for the interface overlay.

ironically, your studio one 3d logo is very flat and the colour or lack thereof makes it almost unreadable.

Two schemes are included for a total of 10 images of varying resolutions, 1080P up to 4K. A black version and white version which will allow anyone wanting to use Studio One in an entirely white GUI style if they have their screen colours inverted as an option.

The primary aim of this set was to improve clarity of the text in Studio One where it was possible to do so, but not straying too far from how Studio One currently presents itself as it does currently. Transparency effects have remained as with the previous 1080P overlay that was posted.

A bit of a resurrection from earlier in the year for those unaware... and whilst there's not yet been an update to them, I thought it was interesting to note that, whilst version 4 has been released and that the transport section (bottom bar) has been updated to include a new feature that breaks the template. Upon the expiration or use of the free prime version of Studio One 4, the overlay becomes usable just as it does in Studio One 3.56. This is because the new 'chording' feature which has been added, is a Professional aspect of the program doesn't exist in Prime. If you're sticking to 3.56 or just have access to the Prime versions (3 / 4), then this will add a new minimal and contained feel to the program and enhancing surrounding aspects of it.
