7:39 mins, for my last project to load, that includes an extra minute and a half for Trilian. Samples load ok but buffering is about 3/4 of the total time. So no improvement there whatsoever. If anything, I would say it's slightly slower, Ive loaded bigger projects in 9 with more samples that have taken less time. I should point out in that project there was only 1 Alicia Keys piano and 1 Trilian bass, there rest were just vsts and drum racks, about 40 total tracks.
Launch time is the same and close time is about the same. I've got 1 SSD drive for applications and 2 hdd - one with sample libraries, the other Live sessions.
Those with similar set ups, you having the same issue? I've been thinking about upgrading to just SSD but it's too much hassle. I just assumed Ableton would have fixed the load up times like they said. Oh well. At least it's solid.

Blame Trillian. For me, finished project (including numerous frozen tracks) took below 40 seconds.

Sounds like my iMac before i put an SSD in it. Now pretty instant.

projects load faster the v.9 did - WIN10/SSD/i7 4790k un-clocked/16gb/44.1 @ 24 bits

You talking about Live 10? Much faster than Live 9 here.
