I just updated from Adapted with no problem.
Maybe the person having issues upgrading had already used their version to upgrade previously.
9.5 for sale now.

Or even cheaper buy a NanoKontrol or NanoPad (or some other cheap controller) that comes with Reason Limited.EnochLight wrote:Do you already own Essentials? If not, there's a few copies still on Amazon, which still makes it an incredible deal. If you're in the US, you can get it at Sweetwater for even less (like $69 USD shipped):jsp1979 wrote:Whelp...if true, then that has probably sucked me in as a buyer. I already have a registered copy of Reason Adapted.
EDIT: Logged in, and yes, the $99 deal is there. Wow.

EDIT: nevermind - just saw that you already own Adapted. Good deal!
I bought these a few years ago sold all the software here except for one of the Reason Limited licences and upgraded from that.
I think I sold the software for more than the cost of the hardware
OR but Essentials from JRR for $61 download

You also get reason essentials with Korg Legacy Collection, at least you used to and that's where my license came from, so if you own that try and find the email you got when you bought it with all the free products listed.
The last thing I needed was something else to spend on but it was too irresistible, upgrade from essentials went smoothly. I used reason a long long time ago, probably up to v2 or 3 mainly to build NN-XT Sampler presets, it's changed a lot and looks much slicker now. I really like the new Granular Synth, simple yet powerful and effective.
I think it's probably a very smart business move for them, it has never been on my radar and here I am now using it

This is a great deal and been waiting for a Reason 10 offer to try it out.
JJRShop bought Reason essential for $61 using code forum and then their upgrade offer for $99 so $160 or £116 notes. Very chuffed. as a bonus had a free ignition key from an incidental transaction a few years back. All working and good
Now on a learning curve...not sure why I did this but hey, cant resist a deal

Blaah! Wrote message and then came errors and I lost my message. So i hope this doesnt come two times..
Friend sent me his old essentials license and I bought the upgrade from JJRShop for a $99 which is 85€. So I got Reason 10 full version for a 85€
Really good deal I am really happy on it.
I hope we see the 10.5 update soon with workflow fixes, like automatically returning playing cursor. This makes me crazy

There's some sales throughout the year. I'd consider ReSpire and Antidote. ReSpire is sometimes on sale for 69 €, and Antidote should be on sale for roughly the same price too.EnGee wrote:I'm waiting for some Rack Extension discountsWell, I think it'll come sooner after this 'crazy' sale!

Wow, this is a great deal! I’ve been toying with the idea of getting back into Reason for a while now, and this seems too good to pass up.
Incomplete list of my gear: 1/8" audio input jack.

This is a great value deal, especially because you can mail Synapse Audio after purchasing it and they'll give you serial for The Legend VST for freeEnGee wrote:I'm waiting for some Rack Extension discountsWell, I think it'll come sooner after this 'crazy' sale!

Yeah, ReSpire if you can score it for one of their big sale prices (usually $69 USD), but I'd pass on Antidote at this point and grab Blamsoft/eXode's Expanse, instead. Much better synth, IMHO.chk071 wrote:There's some sales throughout the year. I'd consider ReSpire and Antidote. That's of course if you can't already coax what you need out of Reason 10's own Europa, which is a pretty capable wavetable workhorse, IMHO. I find myself rarely reaching for Spire, Expanse, or Antidote lately.
