Hi,

Am using Live 9 for few months and I am not happy with the midi editing features it provides. Kowning that X3 is on sale but most of the youtube video mainly focus on how strong its Audio editing... I am a softsynth users and have those well known synth packages like Komplete 10u, V-collection 6 and Rob Papen's all synths etc.... So I heavily rely on the midi editing features of a DAW. So if anyone of u are X3 users, please share your experience on its MIDI features.

Thanks!
Cowby

Tbh...: neither nor...

Abletons midi editing is less than basic...
Samplitude is a bit more advanced, but it´s strength is working with audio and mixing/mastering...
To get a good idea, Kraznet´s videos are a good place:

I am actually in the works of using Samplitude as my Master and Ableton as my slave. The reason being is because I love Live's MIDI editing.
