Hi all,

I have converted the free Adventure Kid Waveforms (AKWF) to the waves format of the Fathom synthesizer. You can find them here:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/dfg0u6n84qva ... v9dfa?dl=0

With 4161 waves the file contains almost all waves of the original AKWF package. Only the stereo waves were not converted.

Use them as follows:
  • Download the file "AKWF_Fathom_Waves.zip" from the folder linked above.
  • Decompress the zip file.
  • Move the folder(s) to the "Waves/User" folder of Fathom. Organize them however you want.
  • Fire up an instance of Fathom.
  • Create a "Wave Draw" oscillator.
  • For best quality set "Partials" to 400.
  • Click on "Waves".
  • Browse to the "User" folder where you have put the files.
  • Click on a file to load it into the oscillator (Click on the "Folder" or "Type" column, otherwise you will rename other properties).
Enjoy! :phones:

Kind regards,

BlitBit

Edit: Adjusted the text to reflect the fact that the format was changed from Fathom wavetables to Fathom waves.

Thanks for sharing these.
I can't seem to get them to work though.
Only get a waveform in position 1, but 2-16 are flat lines without sound.
Tried loading them in other positions and they only go into position 1.

Hi Frostline,

due to a comment from FathomSynth I have now converted the waveforms to Fathom's wave format which should be more straight forward to use. Please refer to the adjusted instructions above.

Frostline, move Wave Index to 1 and click Load.
Then move Wave Index to 16, select another WAV, and click Load.
Then hit the Fill button, which fills smoothly between the loaded indexes.
You can do the same after loading 1,8,16 or 1, 4, 8, 12, 16 etc.

Yeah, that is what I was trying to do, but it wouldn't work on the 1st version that was posted here. I even swapped out Fathom dlls just in case appearing in Reaper didn't equal functioning correctly in Reaper (result was the same). It would simply change the 1 index even if I was on index 8 when I tried to load.
That method works fine on the AKWF wavs I downloaded directly though.
