So what's your point here? No sense of humor?
I got the joke, but I would still like to know about downloads for someone that buys a used copy. As much as I like Syntronik, for me it is usually easier to find a sound by programming a synth than it is sorting through presets, and I just might eventually decide to sell.
Assuming that if the new buyer registered their copy with IK, that they should then have 6 months of downloads available before having to pay to resume downloads. But then again, this is IK... probably would be advised to contact customer service for details of license transfer, otherwise we are just guessing ...

I wonder how many others have actually sold Syntronik after using it?

Well, I went looking for License Transfer Credit, something you used to be able to buy, and I see nothing now. Does this mean it now costs nothing to transfer licenses, or that you no longer can transfer licenses?
If you have requests for Korg VST features or changes, they are listening at https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us/requests/new

If you transfer Syntronik (if not bought via the Custom Shop) then the recipient should get the Syntronik downloads.
FAQ 1111 wrote:1.4 I'd like to transfer my IK product license to another person. How can I do that?

Please note that not all purchases are transferable, such as:
- Items received for free via a promotion
- A-la-carte purchases made in the Custom Shop using Gear Credits
- A-la-carte AmpliTube gear model purchases made in the Custom Shop with PayPal/Credit Card
- Sample libraries (Really ???)
- App purchases made from the App Store/iTunes or Google Play/Galaxy stores
- In-app purchases made within an iOS or Android app
- NFR, or Not For Resale products

FAQ 3611 wrote:1.3 Are my Custom Shop purchases transferable?
The Custom Shop purchases that are transferable include purchased AmpliTube/T-Racks Collections and individual T-Racks CS models purchased with credit card or PayPal, as they provide product serial numbers.
-- If you purchase T-Racks CS models using gear credits, they are not transferable to another user.
-- If you purchase any a-la-carte AmpliTube gear models, they are not transferable to another user.
-- If you purchase any SampleTank 3 libraries from the Custom Shop, they are not transferable to another user.

I have asked Peter foe some clarification of the above; but it look like a transfer is restricted to products that have a serial number.

There have not been many transfers of Syntronik, not surprising since it is one of our most popular and well-received products of all time...

Transfer credits available in our online shop at http://www.ikmultimedia.com/shop/?start=0&cat2=tokens and of course the downloads are available to to the person to whom you transfer.

Sample libraries refers to separate sound libraries purchased. Those are not transferable. Syntronik is. Products with the License Transfer area under the product listing in your IK User Area are.

I hope that helps. I'd love to see another Syntronik in the hands of someone who enjoys making music with this excellent tool. A tool which is, by the way, not just strolling through presets as you can definitely create some great sounds using the 4-part mulits, splits, layers, arpeggiators, etc.

Quick question. Where do I find the serial number for authorisation for the 3 free products added?
I wonder what happens if I press this button...

Those things are usually found in User Area > My Products. Look for Serials/Authorizations section in the product list.

Your free instruments should be there though - there are no serial numbers that will be listed in your My Products section of your IK User Area for the bonus free instruments.

I just been having some free moments to get into Syntronik a little more. I really like the sounds that are here. I think what helps them shine is the Arp. As simple as it is, it is very useful for getting some great sounds to do some intricate things. And I just noticed all of the preset Arps that were available as well!

It would be great if there were multiple patterns that you could sequence through in Syntronik like in Kirnu Cream. Load up a preset in each pattern & switch them around to your heart's content! Nothing too robust, just something simple. I know, there is Cream that can do this already, but it would be great to do as a included feature of Syntronik just to have 1 plugin to use.

I was hoping on using Syntronik as a low-resource alternative to full blown synths when playing live. This works CPU-wise, but RAM - oh boy! up to 2 GB per instance, what is going on there Syntronik? Even the biggest Kontakt libraries in my Mainstage concert only use about 600 MB. Doesn't Syntronik stream samples from SSD? Seems like it loads the full samples into RAM...

I don't have Syntronik, but I just checked how well ST3 works and before I even loaded a preset it was using 466 MB. After I picked a pad preset (from the free Memory-V) it went to 708 MB.

EDIT: I just checked, and I actually do have the free version of Syntronik. I loaded a pad preset and it was around 970 MB in the standalone version.

Using Syntronik standalone with a 2-4 part multi, memory typically runs me between 800MB-1.5GB, depending on the instrument parts loaded.

I compared the same factory Syntronik multis (Pads) loaded into SampleTank 3 standalone, and it used about the same or even slightly less memory.

Finally, tried the same Syntronik multis with SampleTank 4 standalone, and it ran between 2.2GB-3.6GB. That's quite a jump in memory use for the same sounds.

Shouldnt ST4 use less Memory due to added disk streaming?
