Yeah, but not me. You know how I tend to get.

I really think that this time I'm going to email them vigorously.

how the f**k do you think MY letter's gonna go?...

Dear f**king retards,

Post

I emailed them vigorously once the switch to gobbler took place and no more universal installer. Also bugs related to their 'new improved single installer'
They respond polite and I have had responses every 3/4 months...... 15 months later there was neither any improvement or budging on their position.
I have stopped buying softube plugins since that time.
Good luck.

I‘m happy that I sold all my Softube plugins a couple of months ago. I do not understand their business logic. I don‘t like their marketing attitude. I don‘t appreciate their pricing strategy. I do not see their products superior to other good quality brands in the market. Just my two cents...

Ah, I see. For some reason I misread aMUSEd's first post as 'This is a separate app' rather than 'Is this'.
So what is it - is it built into the plugins then? Or some online monstrosity? Crazy misfire by the sound of it.

Boggles my mind how this is my best selling library with all the ridiculous problems it has just saving a damn patch. And now this train wreck?

I'm convinced this company is run by a bunch of idiots.

Actually, he was not alone in the criticism. And this is an "ad hominem" attack with no reason...

Anyway, I downloaded the new versions. Although the preset browser is not the best one I ever seen (running in a separate window, and with those squares - really, do we need pictures to illustrate the preset names? What are we -a bunch of kids in the kindergarden?) at least now we hasve a preset browser.

I'm glad we have it. Of course, a preset browser comes with it's own format, which means existing presets will have to be resaved, but that's a minor.

I don't think calling people idiots is a great idea.
Especially when talking about devs.
Must agree though, they sometime take pretty questionable/weird/uncalled decision.
But yah, those pictures...

WHo manages this company and why he has no idea what they are doing?

Hope sales fall and he gets sacked, what a poor development.

Hey, that's a brilliant idea !
Wagtunes, do you think you can convert your soundset to the new format ??

This could be the solution to your problem if you did it and had this new format on your site (and in a private message to my attention or in response to a personal email of mine with a proof of my buying) :hyper:
