To be serious, the developer - well actually preset designer - I miss a lot is Dennis Harms: AKA Bronto Scorpio.

The guy behind USE-Audio (Creamware).

Their sweet little well sounding Plugiator box had models sounding awesome!
As they for sure is 'dead' after years of no development / updates I would love for them to set the platform free as open source or similar.

Its a shame Brainstormer by Roazhon DSP never got finished due to the death of the Developer (God bless his Soul) because I know that would have kicked ass for a free subtractive.

One of the developers I miss the most is Antti Huovilainen ( of A synth fame ..smartelectronix)
He really started all the filter modelling back in the day , Antti and vadim zavalishin are the true pioneers in dsp dev.
I think he now works for sonic core , not sure about

Well. This is...awkward. I was gonna say: ManyTone and how I wish ManyStation would get a great, big fat update.

Also, as others have said: Kullmann, LinnPlug, Annti...and yeah, I know so many despise the days of gazillion SynthEdit plugs, I still love and wish for more from Tweakbench (I still have a Tweakbench tee!) and....Land of Cockaigne. After all this time I actually still enjoy messing with the ancient Oberon Poly 8 and Panzertank PM4.
Also, GTG. I really enjoy his 3 op FM synth because a dummy like me can kinda sorta work it (as opposed to the outstanding Dexed, which I still cannot noodle out). Heh.
