Is there a way to copy paste 1 pad to another?

Post

Not in the current public official release, but since the latest public-beta (v1.9), you can now Copy and Paste pads via the context menu, or alt-drag a pad to duplicate it (normal drag still swaps pads, as before).

i'm really digging this instrument and leaning towards it as a drum/all around sampler to use in Reaper, but i definitely agree with Caine123 that this thing would be incredible if it allowed for timestretching (especially since i can't drag files into it from the Reaper timeline). And possibly loop back and forth function like Ableton's Sampler, then you could make amazing pads with this thing.

That said, the featureset for 2.0 looks pretty good.

That's not the goal for this tool. For stretching, pads and such New Sonic Arts already have something: Granite.

Key modifier drag works. Cant remember the combo. Maybe shift-alt on pc

Alt drag is good. Thx

There is already a fwd/rev loop mode, check the loop settings on the Mapping page.

As for timestretch, it's a popular request and we have been looking at possible solutions. Its only at a research stage though so I can't give any guarantees.

Any plans to implement a fwd/rev loop mode in VICE? It would be nice to have for chops that are a little too short.

Yes, but can't say when. Maybe in the next major-ish Vice update.

Raddler1 wrote:Can anyone confirm that nuance is in fact cpu light?? I did some testing on logic with the cpu activity monitor, and compared to some common vst synths ( Ace, arturia...), I didn't notice a big diffrence in cpu hit.
Back in the day when Nuance 1.0 was being developed, it was benchmarked against most samplers around and it outperformed all of those in pure voice count tests (essentially how high the cpu goes when say, 64 voices are played in parallel). That was a long time ago though so I don't know if that still stands, but I stand by the general claim that is generally light on CPU.

Lux Elliot seems to agree, in the following vid at 6:55... :)

Agreed. Even if it only had a really 'bad' quality option it would be amazing.

I've tested version 1 and really liked it. Really considering this.
I would like to see mute/solo buttons on groups in drum mode (midi mappable of course).

+1 on timestretch
