VSTi trackers?

Okay, so just now I heard of a VST tracker called Aodix. And before that I ran into ReViSiT (VSTrack) which can be loaded as a VSTi, and I know Skale tracker is going VSTi. And of course, ReNoise is capable of loading VSTs, but it's not a VSTi tracker.

What I'm looking for are trackers that can be loaded within my favorite VST host, so that I can use the tracker interface as a compositional tool.

So... ReViSiT (still not beta) and Skale (we're waiting...) ... and perhaps also Aodix (I don't know if that one's a VSTi tracker). Aren't there any VSTi trackers out there, today, that are fully functional and not early in development? If you know of any, I would really appreciate it if you would list them here :)!

Best regards,
Tomas

Madtracker supports Rewire. I think that's the closest you will get at this point. :(

Sadly, I think there are none. We just have to wait for Revisit to get more and more usable. (Meanwhile, if you're well used to trackers, you could support the cause by getting the latest alpha of Revisit and give feedback to the developer(s)...)

It says "beta 0.78" in the image. Doesn't sound too "fully functional and not early in development" to me...

Also, I would't pay too much attention to anything that is unreleased. I mean, Revisit is at least released and functional. So, I wouldn't be listing this as a viable VSTi tracker until I've had the chance to test it myself. Even if the stand alone app is fully functional, there are no guarantees as to how well the eventual VSTi version will initially work. As usual, I wouldn't be holding my breath until it's well grounded...

Stand alone is released. The tracker part is completely functional. That will make the vsti verion a lot more functional than Revisit.

I'm very much confident that whenever Baktery gets around to releasing Skale VSTi, it will be the BOMB! He seems to be a guy that does few releases but each release is worth the waiting.

... And that screenshot just made me cry ;)
Goddamn! When will the bastard release it??? :D

I think if you want to use a tracker to compose, that will qualify as a host and not as an instrument.

How 'bout using BUZZ with Polac's VSTi Loader to let it control your VSTi's? It's not the newest & hottest setup, but definitely one to concider if you're into the Tracker workflow. Also very low on CPU if you use the native Buzz generators & effects.

aodix is a tracker and a vst host, not a vst itself
it seems that actually the only choice is revisit ...

I want a tracker to compose in, but I don't want to be limited by the tracker. Trackers have some very big limitations when it comes to multitrack recording (they are, however, unsurpassed when it comes to efficient and quick music writing). That's why I moved to Logic some years ago and that's why I don't want to use a standalone tracker (a tracker host).
I want to use a tracker within a VST environment so that I can use the tracker and at the same time use the VST environment with all its benefits. A tracker, in the form of a VSTi, within a VST host takes care of that.
