Best Reason Rack Extensions?

I'm still not sure what benefits there really are in using REs over VSTs, but so far for my money the only RE I'm interested in is The Legends, partially because it is awesome, and partly that you also get the vst version, so as an investment it is pretty ideal. But are there others I should check out?

If you are in to synths then Blamsoft Viking 2 - one of the best synths i ever heard on any format.

I might get The Legend myself at some point, although I already have Diva and Monark I believe the advantage of the Re version of the Legend is it's essentially a semi modular Moog since it has all the cv cabling at the back so should be more powerful than the plugin version.

I don't have it but it looks like it makes it a bit more like a Moog Mother or Microbrute 2 in the sense that you can rewire internal routings and play around with modulations more freely.

Not really (some might argue convenience), and CV in Reason runs at 1/64th of the sample rate. In other words i.e. 44100 Hz / 64 = 689 Hz. Developers can use audio cables for modulation to make use of the full sample rate. Also note that inter device modulation in Reason is global, i.e. affects all voices at the same time unless you have a synth with separate I/O for each voice. So it's kind of like real world modular in that sense.

I have tried it yesterday and it is really a nice synth with tons of features. I think it is a good alternative to Serum. Anyway, although I liked it, but compared to Thor, Massive, Largo and Dune 2, which are my favourite Wavetables synths, I liked it less than those. But I think for those who into EDM, it might suits them very well

I like the Expanse Hyperwave Synthesizer too! Good deal and the first real EDM RE`which i found on the Prop Shop.
