Hi,
I'm looking to buy the cheapest iPad at the moment and I would like to run Cubasis 2 on it... does it works well on it?
Any experiences ?
Mainly because I will travel without my laptop and want something to compose...
Thanx

I don't have Cubasis, but iPad comes with Garage Band which has drums and instruments. It's a midi sequencer so you can compose with it.
You can also insert/connect the different synths in Garage Band but not as many or as easy like with a laptop (I think it depends on the processor and the plugs). Mine is iPad mini 2 bought it about 3 years ago, so I don't know how the new ones perform.

Using: Cubase Pro 15, Bitwig 5, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

It should work well on anything newer than the iPad 2, including the mini models.

I use it on an iPad Air (1) for jingles, writing and demos, and it runs well. I usually stick to the included plugins, with the additional fx packs, and don’t use many AU plugins, usually just Esspresso.
I miss MindPrint. My TRIO needs a big brother.
