I saw this announcement on my Facebook page earlier this morning and my Gear Acquisition Syndrome addled brain went "Free Plugin,Must Have".........

So I've been trying all morning to get in then create an account while the website is getting crushed by other GAS infected people.

Then I realized I already have dozens of EQ plugins.

Addiction is a horrible thing.......

Cpu usage on these GEMs is crazy low, like bordering on 0% on my 7year old i7

API Eq emulation was the only type of EQ that I didn’t have. Hope it’s good!

Very generous!

I managed to add a license for the EQ550 to my Overloud user account.

Do i now "own" the plugin or do I have to run authorization first? Because I will not be able to install and authorize the plugin in the next 2 weeks.

I think you "own" it, no matter when you decide to run the authorizer. I have another question: 110MB for an EQ is pretty hefty. Is it based on IR's?

This is good. I can compare this only to the Waves emulation, though, but especially mid and mid-high frequecies with the pre-amp saturation sound sweet.

The plugin dll is only around 10mb, there are several formats and a standlone in the installer

0% cpu and 0ms latency so is definately not convolution
