I really like the GEMs, they sound great, I can load a bajillion of them in a project as they barely use any CPU and theyre zero latency.

If the snarky response is at all serious, it's already been pointed out that aliasing can be mitigated, and I even mentioned a few plugins that do it fairly well (E27, the Arturia preamps, the Kush stuff, I'll add TDR to that list too).

Just tested against Waves API 550 at 88k. There are a lot more harmonics than the Waves, reaching well into ultrasonic territory, 30k+ even with no settings, even with a -20 test tone. Yes there is a lot of distortion folding back as well. Not judging the sound quality. Haven't tested it on actual audio yet.

Sounds fine though. Just ran some drum bus through it. Does what it should and sounds good doing it. It's easy to get caught up in all the analyses and graphic tests but at the end of the day it really comes down to how it sounds IMHO.

Definitely would be a nice bonus if the 'Harmonics' section of the EQ was toggle-able, and yeah the aliasing is a bit of a pain (would be nice if it had an 'offline' render mode with oversampling options) but for free I'm not complaining (not sure I'd get it for the RRP) !
