Evoking the early 80s in perfectly mixed LayzerSound. A gem. :phones:

Can you watch too many episodes of "The Computer Chronicles"?
If so, I must do it myself.
Well done!

"The Computer Chronicles" ....absolutely no idea whatsoever what that is, but if it inspires music this good then I'm off to watch as many episodes as possible! :0)

Loved it!

Wow flashback to the early 80's with the program, cool tune and well conceived from those episodes. Nice one.

Sounds great all round. Nice melodies, a catchy "hook", good storytelling in the progression. Good length too; you left me wanting more, so I listened again. That's normally a good sign :)

Is the end supposed to cut off like that though? Sounds like you didn't let the FX ring out.

Cool - sounds fantastic. :tu:

This was a very enjoyable and lively piece of music, with great dynamics, and lots of sonic ear-candy. I really liked the piano/arp intro and the theremin.

Good work :)

this came about during a wip, which is near completion, btw
and will be posted in a day or two. stay tuned! :phones:

I finally figured out what memory this track was tapping into: about 20 years ago, a friend and I sampled the BBC recordings of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, right at the point where the mice are talking about replacing Arthur's brain. We sampled the words "an electronic brain", which sounded quite funky with the pitching effect the BBC had used for the mice.

Can't remember what became of the track, only sampling the vinyl. Probably some unfinished drivel. We thought it would make a great sample for some technoid electro beat house or whatever it was we were making back then.

its a "feature" of the EnergyXT2 daw. when it renders, it tends to cutoff
the last few seconds of audio. so i usually end the song with a random sound
from the song.

Somewhat crazy... delightfully so
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently now an 'elderly' so maybe I forgot!

has me in mind of eat static - the brain is a machine (not sure if that's whats its called, been so long, but the sample is used, but in that case its a bloke)

other than that memory, which im thankful for, great days :)
the tune itself, very nice work, clear mix and nice sounds.
thanks for sharing, left me with a smile :)

Just use the Left-Right locator in the Export Project popup, and increase the "Right" setting a few seconds past the last note/midi section to include the fade.
