Hi,
I wonder if someone, maybe here at Kvr, has collected a list of music software (Vst-based) developers by country.
My gut feeling is, that the developer major power countries are
Germany
USA
Italy
UK
France
Then comes
Holland
Japan
Sweden
Poland
Then come countries, which have only 1-2 major developers/products, about 10 countries globally.
But I really liked to see a real statistics, how the music software development is distrubuting by country. Both in terms of turn over, and number of companies.
If someone knows, if this kind of data is collected and exists, or will share his/her knowledge, please report here.
Name of the company
Origin (country)
Major music software (vst) products
Turnover (approximately)

Musiclab: Real Guitar, Real Strat, etc, too many to name
No indea about the turnover

If we devide countrie in 4 categories,
A. Major development powers
B. Significant development powers
C. Some music software development
D. None
maybe Russia goes to the group B. (?)
Perhaps this is the way to collect the data: Kvr members share the situation in their own countries.
I think Finland goes to the category C. (E.g. Kirnuap)
