Just wondering if anyone from Canada has ordered anything from eSoundz lately...

What carrier did they use (DHL, UPS, FedEx, US Post, etc.)?

What level of service did you use (Global, Economy, Priority)?

Did you get nailed with brokerage fees? How much was it?

I'm trying to avoid the situation where I save $5 by doing the pre-order/intro offer, and end up paying $40 in brokerage fees for the pleasure. :o

I guess everyone at eSoundz is busy nailing guitars up over the windows, because I'm getting no direct responses to these questions...

TIA

We send Global Priority to Canada. If you get enough products to qualify for the free shipping (by spending $199 or more) then you are even more set. Otherwise, you still get some great deals with eRewardz discounts or ePointz you can accumulate. The intro price on Sonik Capsules is really good because the price is going up to $129. in a few months. It's just too expensive to make since it is literally 5 times the amount of work for us. It should even be more technically (relative to our development costs).

Please, we ask that you guys do not discuss brokerage fees publicly in the forum. That can vary and this is private order information.

I will tell you that we have a lot of customers from Canada and they get their products fast (from the time we ship) and that I haven't heard too many complaints (at least not beyond what Canadians expect to pay). Maybe some customers from Canada like Bearded One or ManyTone or others can tell you some good experiences they've had with esoundz without getting into order details.

Thanks.

I live in Canada and have ordered from esoundz twice. I agree with everything Squids says in his post, and I can tell you I was very happy with delivery times and costs for both shipments.
A metaphor is like a simile...

Sorry, "Global Priority" sounds like a generic delivery term, like "Express" or "Expedited".

Is that "Global Priority Mail" via the US Postal Service?

Thanks

P.S.
I didn't know that discussing Brokerage Fees was verboten. I apologize. It's just that it can be disproportionately high in some cases. UPS (the brown guys) can be particularly bad.

eSoundz is the best customer service company in the entire music industry...every thing from the product to the shipping is first rate...dont worry about ordering from Canada...they understand all the quirks of international shipping...just order quick before they realize their madness ...now...if I could just talk them into taking over my phone, hydro, gas, ect. company...you want to talk about customer service!!!!!!

Yes I'm from Canada but my order was delivered to Taiwan since I'm living here so I guess that doesn't help. Great service though them esoundz.

Yeah, I don't know why UPS and Fedex are so expensive sometimes for international shipping but we know your concerns and also especially when we comp the shipping in most cases anyway we use the most reliable, fast and cost effective solutions for each person's package destination.

At a certain point we have no control over how the carrier deals with it as it reaches each country. But, from experience we follow what has worked best for our customers depending on the country.

To quote Forrest Gump "... and that's all I have to say about that." :D

I ordered 9/1/04
Shipped (charged) 9/8/04 (Global Priority, USPS)
They claim 7-10 business days.
I will let you know my experiences
.
BTW, I ship CD's to Florida all the time...just chuck them in the regular mail...they never take more than a week.

Came today!
Great stuff!
...and I didn't have to be home to accept it, if you know what I mean. :D
