Sad news. I had unbelievably bad luck, both of my development capable computers malfunctioned within a couple of days. I could only fix the Mac for now, the Windows machine is still out of order due to a SSD drive that suddenly gave up and I lost everything on it. Most of the my source code etc is of course backed up but even if I get the Windows system running again on some drive, it will take time to get everything working again. So probably no updates for the plugin happening for a couple of weeks...

NOOOOOOOOO - Sorry to hear that man. I've always heard SSDs had a limited lifespan but thought it was just scare tactics (with the 'limited lifespan' just being as regards not bashing it about like a crazy person) - First time I've heard from someone regarding a solid state drive death....

I feel sorry for you. I know what it means to have a computer failing unexpectedly, out of the blue.
Please don't let it take you down. You'll be remembered on my prayers.

Great, could have been much worse...Xenakios wrote:Probably back in action on Windows already. Reinstalling the system on a new drive and getting the software builds to work was about a one day job. But I think the next plugin release will have to wait until next week.
Keep it up!

Kind of late to the show, but just discovered the Paul stretch recently and it is really wonderful. Now I found out about the vsti version, very happy about this. Thanks a lot!

Just went to your blog, reading abou lamda...
Long time ago I met Trevor Wishart, was always fascinated about his music and his CDP project. Back then already thought of how to get all this processing into Max/MSP. Had also some experience with Kyma and its unique timeline approach but would never be able to afford a Capybara...
Just watching those lambda videos triggered a time travel...; - )
This looks like the most interesting project I have seen in a long time. As it is a different way of thinking. The outcome will be a different kind of music, you simply can't do with all these much more popular tools around today. I would love to see that playground evolve. I could do all your Mac testing...

It will unfortunately require pretty much a full rewrite so that's why I have been putting off developing it further.Tj Shredder wrote:I would love to see that playground evolve. I could do all your Mac testing...

Sorry, no. (I suppose the source code could be built as a 32 bit binary but I have not tested that and I don't want to start doing that.)Halonmusic wrote:No 32bit version?
