Good work, I love the strings in the intro and the Arp in the later parts. :tu:
And there's a a pinch of Jean-Michele Jarre in it...right?

And hopefully you don't have more spare time left this month...in the end you end up with a fathom only album and the hard decision to make, which of the tracks you make your OSC submission (just kidding :D)

@carl_saved ... yeah, thought it was not remembering what you had copy/pasted ... easy to do ... no worries at all - only commented for fun, not mischief! :tu:

TrojakEW, That will be fixed in today’s release. If notes are close together the attack phase should start where the release phase left off. This change was made recently so that slow pads sound better.

Ontrackp, Windows or Mac? What kind of mouse are you using?

Hehe no no. I just have some more free time so I decide to try another track. It is all because of you and your track  .

I was busy and missed some rounds and I'm not sure how much time I will have next month  .

@TrojakEW: Oh I feel honored :o
About my comment about the resonance thing on your track...please note that refers to my ears and "in my room"
My music room is not an acustically treated studio. That said your track might be totaly fine in other rooms. Just wanted to point out a potential detail for optimization...I have the same problem and try to listen in many different settings: headphones, ear buds, car, living room consumer equipment, I even change position in my "studio" to check whether I have created a stationary wave.
May be I have some spare time and try to do a mix of your track (optimized for my studio) if download is enabled...then you can do A/B check.

Mac -- with the mouse that came with the computer (iMac 2013). I think it's what they called the Magic Mouse. Thanks. As I've been away from this for a couple of weeks I may have missed an update.

A flaw I came upon while working with Fathom was when I intended to modulate the filter frequency, I made a mistake and used the wrong modulator. So I tried to delete it - I clicked on the envelope module, pressed delete, and instead of just deleting the envelope, it deleted the filter as well.

Mind you, it did say at the top that it was going to delete the filter. But then how do I delete just the modulator?

So sorry if this has already been dealt with. I haven't had the chance to read the whole thread. Thanks.

Click the "+" to 'open' it, then click delete button.

A *right-click > delete* menu feature, would be so much nicer.

From the quick start guide
5.4.4 Deleting a Modulation To delete a modulation from the matrix, click on the modulator icon to expand the mod slat and then hit the Delete button. It is necessary to first expand a mod slat before deleting it in order to prevent accidentally deleting a modulation.
So if you accidentally used an LFO and wanted an ADSR. Click the sine symbol on the modulator slat so the specific name of the modulator opens in a blue oval button on the slat, then hit the delete button.
Or you can press that blue oval button with the specific modulator name from the previous step and that will bring up the list of modulators and you can then select a different one to use.

yes, what he said.

The all powerful delete button always deletes what ever is selected (and warns you first).

To delete a modulator you have to have a modulator selected.
Expand a mod slat by clicking on the modulator icon.
Then click on the long blue button with the modulator name to bring up the modulator list.
Then click on a modulator in the list and hit Delete.

Not sure if anyone has noticed, but there are no right click context menu's in the entire interface,
and there never will be.

However, it might be possible to talk me into putting a delete button on each modulator at some point.

I'd rather talk you into a bypass button on each modulator that can be automated on/off from the host. :D
But I'd take both.

Hmmm, that's actually a pretty cool idea.

In addition I wonder if a on/off button on each mod slat might be useful as well, then you could do it by modulation also.

So many times I've wanted to temporarily bypass a modulation and the only way currently is to change the mod type to add and turn the modulation amount to zero. A bypass switch would be uber-useful.

Just put this on the feature list.

Yes, i have a time machine and I answer questions before you think of them. :hihi:

I figured out what I was doing wrong. The envelope module has to be expanded in order to delete it.

I didn't realize there would be responses so quickly, I didn't look. Awesome!

My entry, subject to last minute changes of course. A little traditional dance music number, expanding upon an unused idea I had laying around. I was waiting for the right synth to come along and the virtually unlimited possibilities of Fathom definitely fit the bill.

https://soundcloud.com/user-947450193/osc-109-fathom

Composed in Ableton using 41 instances of Fathom.

DAW effects used: EQ Eight, Auto Filter, Compressor, Glue Compressor, Utility, Reverb, Simple Delay, Limiter, Saturator

3rd party effects used: OTT x 2, BlueArp x 1, Sanford Reverb x 1, Ozone Imager x 1

About 1/3 of the patches were created from scratch, 1/3 heavily modified from a factory patch, 1/3 more or less a factory patch out of the box.

Very time consuming process due to CPU usage and track freezing, hopefully this will be looked at in the future!
